Already traveling in Myanmar? Spent a week or two visiting temples and villages? Myanmar is a beautiful adventure, but the holiday becomes perfect if you take some time at the end to relax and enjoy the empty beaches - and your personal yacht. Departure date of the cabin will be on Saturdays (except 2 peak season departures that start on Fridays) at 10:30am. In this way you will be able to start the cruise much earlier and enjoy the Mergui Archipelago already at lunch time. There will be no waiting at the jetty for delayed flights and late customers. All guests need to be ready to board at 10:30am, so arriving to Kawthaung a day before departure is very safe and nice to stay at Victoria Cliff Hotel (we can help to book the hotel)
Flight ticket Yangon – Kaw Thaung (K7-319 0700-1010 via TVY & MGZ)
A representative from us will pick up and transfer to the hotel in Kaw Thaung. You can walk around the city and eplore on your own.
Overnight at TBA (not included yet)

Day 1:

After the welcome aboard your yacht, we set sail to Barwell Island where we spend the evening on the beach. We’ll go for a swim before dinner and drinks. The first night on the yacht feels like a dream and the evening waves move the boat like a cradle. Overnight at Onboard

Day 2:

Leisurely breakfast on board is served. After a refreshing swim we start our passage to Island No. 115, a place often frequented by Moken sea gypsies. In the afternoon we will reach the group of small islands called Mid Group. If time permits, we go for a dinghy excursion into a nearby mangrove forest on Island No. 88. After the evening swim we have dinner in this beautiful covered area. Overnight at Onboard

Day 3:

In the morning we slowly sail towards the little village on Nyaung Wee Island and visit the local sea gypsy settlement. After lunch we sail west to Great Swinton Island. Jungle walk along the creek and collecting seashells on the huge beach. For those interested in Buddhism, a short visit in a local monastery. Snorkelling, and then sundowners on deck. Watching the bioluminescent plankton at night. Overnight at Onboard

Day 4:

Early-morning sail to tiny Ohway Island for the best snorkelling (and great fishing) in the region. Observe the colourful life of the reef, full of soft and hard corals and plentiful of tropical fish. After lunch we set sails for Jar Lann Kyun, also called Lord Loughborough, and anchor in its large fjord, one of the most spectacular bays in the archipelago. In the mangrove forest we watch the hornbills at dusk. Fine dining on board and relaxation time under the starry sky. Overnight at Onboard

Day 5:

Long and leisurely sail towards Za Det Nge Island with its beautiful bays and beaches. Visit Rhino Island on the way. Its stunning turquoise waters are perfect for enjoying the sun. Later we move towards Za Det Nge’s for a last dinner party on the beach. Overnight at Onboard

Day 6:

Early morning passage towards Kawthaung. Casual brunch aboard before we reach the pier and say goodbye. Our crew will bring you to the airport if you fly from Kawthaung. Or book your transfers if you are leaving to Thailand.
